Our Herd

Buddy Black is a small bay black herdsire with a micron count of 19. He is 5 years old and has held his micron count well. He is very curious and come to investigate anything happening in and around his domain. He is the dominate herdsire. He has a bugle call we all know by now.

His parents are no longer in the United States. He is unproven at present. That will change this fall.

Zippity Dodah is a fawn herdsire. He is proven. His cria is expected this fall to Melody of Stonefield Alpacas. His bloodline has rose gray in it. His fleece is very crimp and has a micron count of 19. He is easily haltered and will hopefully win more ribbons. His fleece won 2nd place in the seaff competition fall of 2009.

White Lightening is a white fiber boy. He is also sweet tempered. His fiber is soft and has alot of crimp to it. This is another fiber boy that will supply me fiber to naturally dye to colors.

Tara has been bred to Buddy Black and will birth in the fall. Gerald, our jr. herdsire is the latest cria she had. She is a very good mommy. She is one of our first females. She will be helping us build our herd for now.

Sandy is our other female. She has been bred to Zippity Dodah and will birth in the fall. This will be her first cria. We are waiting to see her mothering skills and of course the cria. She is also helping us build our herd. She is a beautiful fawn female with awesome conformation.

Charleston is a white fiber boy. He supplies me with a wonderful crimped fiber to spin. I look forward to using his fiber to dye with natural colors from my herbs this year. He is very easy to handle.
