In 1985 I was introduced to alpacas through my monthly country living magazine. That incident caused me to start dreaming of country living.
In 1986 I was introduced to the Smoky Mountains through a family vacation. That vacation caused me to start dreaming of alpaca farming on a small farm in the Smoky Mountains area.
I raise mini schnauzers. Our puppy picture is from an article in the Newport Plain Talk. I am now the Parrottsville news correspondent.
Now in 2009 I am Alpaca farming on a small farm in the Smoky Mountain area and loving every minute of it.
I have mini schnauzers, alpacas and organic herbs.
I spin my own yarn and dry my own herbs. I also deliver two litters of pups a year. Call for availabilty.
Now I welcome visitors to Windsong Hills Alpacas and Mini Schnauzers. My small alpaca farm in the Smoky Mountains. Daily I thank God for all our Blessings.
We will be having our Parrottsville Alpaca Shearing Day 2010 April 15th. Alpaca fiber arts will be available as well as local artisians crafts. Join in or take before and after pictures of the alpacas. Pot luck and good alpaca conversation will be available after the shearing.
